BSFL processing for shrimp farms and hatcheries

Shrimp systems are sensitive to variability. We batch-test shrimp feedstocks (including processing residues and algae blends), manage diet balance, and run operations that produce consistent live larvae outputs. Frass is managed as a secondary output for non-pond applications.

Common shrimp feedstocks

  • Shrimp heads, shells, and processing residues
  • Off-spec product and selected residual streams (subject to intake rules)
  • Algae biomass and residues used as blend components
  • Other compatible organics where permitted and validated

Operational realities we plan for

  • Mineral/ash load variability
  • Salinity swings
  • Moisture and texture instability
  • Biosecurity and odor control requirements

Live larvae outputs

Staged and scheduled for practical farm logistics.

Batch-tested diets

Validated inclusion rates and supplementation strategies.

Frass applications

Berms, buffers, and soil conditioning around infrastructure—non-pond use.

We’ll assess feedstocks, define batch testing, and propose an operating model and offtake pathway.
